The City

Advertising
Ads in the city were a great way for us to throw in a few jokes about the world our characters reside in, but more importantly, they are an integral part of the plot.
We wanted there to be a heavy feeling of watching and being watched through out the film, and large screen ads fulfilled that need perfectly.
If you have the opporunity to watch the film more than once, take some time to notice the city background, and you will be in for an awesome treat.

Technology
The most important technological landmarks of our city are the interactive holo-ads and the personal transport tube system. The holo-ads play a more active role in telling the story, as the device that leads them to the juicery. The travel tube system serves as a reflection of the Juicery's interior juice tube system.
While the cityscape consists of mostly hard edged silohuettes, we wanted our futuristic world to have some rounded and more bubbly elements. The feeling we were going for is light weight and fast paced, and we felt the rounded edges would give a sleek feel to our different technological oddities

Buildings
Much like the advertisments in the city, many of our store fronts were based off of jokes, puns, and even random word mash ups.
Over dramatized, and somewhat pointless consumerism was our main theme for the world we built, so it was important that our city be not just full of buildings, but full of buildings that were each trying to sell you something.
